It's crazy you here of parents going a little overboard on youth sports and here I have it....one of my parents helps in the dug out and is sooooooooo loud and in some cases over baring... its now up to me to say calm down..this is a first for me because 7-8year old playing baseball are supposed to have fun....learn the basics and understand sportsmanship......but wow what a chore I have in front of me.....EXAMPLE...we are losing the game , we really need a hit and sure enough a kid hits a ball into the gap bases loaded and here we go....one problem he did not touch 1st base..so I have him come back and it only turns into a single.....my out spoken coach says "You should not have had him come back...that's the umps job!!!!!" to which I responded "Yea but he missed 1st base" and well you can figure out the rest...back and fourth......it's crazy why would anyone want to compromise INTEGRITY at such a young age...well any way one guys thoughts on youth sports and handling the parents...check out vblog...crouchman
