I think there is a lot of truth to this in terms of what will happen. as to the extent, he is just guessing for no one really knows. most people still cannot grasp the true financial devastation that is in the united states and through out the world. all the efforts of our government have done is simply keep us from going into a true economic depression. they cannot keep us from a great recession. it is upon us and it will take some time to come out of it. as tax revenues fall every state and city will have to reevaluate it's balance of services and taxes. california is the first and most in trouble, but all states and cities will have to face their own trials either in the remaining six months of this year or early next year. it is inevitable and the faster they move the better it will be. dragging these things out literally "drags them out!"

so, what does this mean to you? it is simply the environment you have to work in. there will be sales in your area and you will have to work harder than you've ever worked to get the number you need. and there are less top agents who will give the extra effort so you will have to work harder than you've ever worked to go get and retain them. every area has been affected differently so some will have to work harder than others, but i wouldn't think that way. i'd get up monday morning and i'd pound the pavement harder than you've ever done before and plan to not let up for 365 days!

here is the point i want you to understand: the world has fundamentally changed and that is what people don't grasp. they can't get their head around it and keep trying to understand it from their past experiences. unless you lived during the great depression and truly felt it, you don't have anything in your past that helps you fully grasp what is going on. economically and enviromentally we no longer live in the world we used to. that one is gone. there is a new world, an exciting world, one full of hope and opportunity. one full of joy and abundance. the trick is it will take entirely new thinking and actions to access this new world. drag along your old thinking and actions and you'll be living on the down side of our situation instead of the upside. both will be tremendous and you'll get to decide which you live on.

you know what to do. you've always known what to do. now is the time to narrow your focus and do it.
