Fwd: Living for the Present

Subject: Living for the Present

Scott,

How's it going brother!  I have to share something with you and I told Jessica.

So, yesterday I'm in my 4th court hearing of the day, exhausted and stressed. I'm in court and the judge is taking his time on a task that is very simple.  As I stand in front of the court, I'm getting a little discouraged in my mind.  This is what's great about it… I remember something you said on the golf course that really stuck to me: "live for the present."  So I took a step back and looked at the Federal Courtroom as I stand next to my client.  I tell myself "this is amazing, standing before the United States Federal District Court, wow!  I worked so hard to get to this position.  Look at the huge federal seal behind the judge, the US Flag next to the judge, my client next to me and I'm getting paid to do this.  This is great, thank you God for everything you've giving me."

That moment made my day.  I agree a hundred percent with you.  We need to live for the present and just look at what's around us.  I am really trying to live my life for the present and enjoy every part of my day.  Have a great day!
